About The Everyday Archivist

In this blog, you will find advice on how to manage your own personal collections – both paper and digital and complete your family history. Alongside this will be posts about aspects of archives in general and new developments.

I will also throw into the mix a few posts on a really hot topic for many archivists (in the UK anyway), tea and cake! I don’t think it is really a coincidence that the initials of The Everyday Archivist spell TEA.

I am a qualified Archivist in the UK with many years experience of working in a variety of archives including local record offices, business archives and specialist archives. I hope that you will find something of interest – even if it is just about the cakes.

I also have a Facebook page and a Twitter feed.
